Geneva Lake

My home lake and it’s a great one, lots of species and big fish too, great for any type of fishing

Many people think that the fishing is terrible on this lake and it usually is if you aren’t using what the fish want. The fishing is very tough with extreme water clarity down to 30ft occasionally. But if you figure out how to hook into a fish, it is most likely a very good size. People always ask me what’s in here and my answer is always, “ nearly every freshwater species you can think of.”

The fish are like a light switch one day they are out the next they aren’t , but water is usually very clear.

So Ik there’s probs a lot of places to fish but at least where I was there was guys just flying buy on boats kinda affecting everything but I will say caught like 30 Rock bass and a bunch of other stuff and saw some pretty big fish

Fishing takes a backseat to all of the recreational use. If you’re looking for a lake to go fishing, I probably wouldn’t choose this lake unless you know it really well. There are some giants in here but you have to know what to use.
