Alot of people fishing in one spot irs brakish water
I have caught every inshore fish at some time are another here. In one spot I litterly caught large mouth bass, red fish, specks, crappie, carp, catfish and the largest alligator gar I have ever seen over 9 ft.
In the summer, there were hundreds of menhaden. Now there are only a few baitfish, specifically anchovies and croakers, to catch with a cast net. Also, it’s better to come in the spring or summer. Not only are there more fish, it’s also warmer.
Stopped by for a few hours while in town for business. Plenty of parking and space to fish. Had some luck for a short time there. Totally want to come back if I’m in the area.
