Fish kill

Don’t be fooled by the pictures of the bass that have been caught here,I’ve fished here 2 times for 4 hours each, no luck, not even one bite. They cut down all the brush around the pond for some reason and pulled out a lot of logs from the pond which seems odd to me. I know a fish kill happened last year that caused lost if fish to die, if I were to guess there’s probably only about 12 fish left in this pond. It smells like dead fish so I’m a hundred percent sure more fish have died since then. It is a nice quite park so if you decide to come here don’t come here to fish come here to swing on the swings at the playground 🥲

Very Tough Spot

Spot was really nice a few years back but they had a fish kill pretty recently and most of the species have suffered from it. Wouldn’t come here expecting to catch anything although it’s the kinda spot where their is always a chance. Not many spots to fish from the bank, stay on the more open side of the pond unless you’re looking for a snag.

Cats

Only was able to fish here for 15 minutes but hooked on a really nice channel cat on my fly rod. Will deff go back and try for more!

Not bad. Hard to get to the other half of the lake, a lot of snagging in the lake.
