Saint Pauls Lake

It'd be better if most anglers would stop keeping everything they catch from there.

Pro- There’s bass.. but the bass are very picky eaters here. On the other hand this lake is full of curious blue gill that loves trailing lures, turtles, and massive Koi that are curious at times as well (but i wouldn’t bother trying to catch the Koi, their too smart and they seem to sense when anglers are near). Con- Algae is abundant along the bottom. I haven’t seen any, but i’ve heard from other anglers that snakeheads are known to live here as well. Also depending on the season their can be lots of flies and geese 💩 along the bank If you fish here, my advice would be to use something weedless. If you’re fishing for blue gill use bread, corn, or fries. They’ll bite within seconds (Maybe use the blue gill as live bait at another lake or pond)

Starting to be high pressured. Lot of trash and lots of shallow areas. Early morning and late late afternoon lake now

Ive caught a lot of big bass in here but its few and far between. Highly pressures and inconsistent.
