Well, the season ended October 15th just getting around to posting the results from the last tournament of the year, I ended up 16th in this tournament and ended AOY in 19th place this year, I can say it was not too bad of a year, A big thanks to my two buddy's that help accomplish that take time out of there schedule to help me do what I love to do, I appreciate it, now to get ready for next year! 

READ WORTHY! 🤣 Man, the super tournament at Lake Eufaula was another one for the books. 🤪 

Saturday morning was brisk and fog was starting to lay down. We were boat 98 in the last flight out, totaling 108 boats.  My boater decided he wanted to run up river so that’s where we tried our hand.  Before blast off I told him to make sure to watch for channel markers and let’s be careful because the pool was 6 feet below full!  We takeoff and head left to go up river and because of the storms the week prior some of the buoys were moved around.  We got to an island and instead of going left where the channel normally is he decided to take a right. 😑

He saw another boater, so to try to avoid that boater he made a sharp turn and we ended up stuck on a sandbar at said island.  I like the beach... but not on tournament day.🤣🥴 ...after being told to be patient 30 mins in I decided to get down to my skivvies (underwear). This was driving me nuts because it was cutting into fishing time.  Mind you, this is tournament day... and it was cold.  Granted, the water was warmer than the outside air.🤷🏻‍♀️ Fast forward an hour and 45 minutes later we finally got un-stuck.  He had an old wooden oar on board I used to wedge under the “drivers side” that was the main part mostly stuck due to a full tank of gas.  The oar eventually broke so then I rocked the front back and forth while he worked the motor. 🤣🥴 .....it worked but I am still sore from Saturday.

Long story short... despite the morning circumstance I did not let it phase my concentration. It’s the best I’ve fished throughout the BFL season.  Got 3 keepers.  2 shrimps and one decent one that made for a total weight of 4.14 which wasn’t good enough to fish Sunday sadly. But, I finished the event at 45 out of 108 co-anglers. 

I finished 56 out of 233 co-anglers over all for the 2020 BFL bulldog division region.  For those of you who don’t know, going in as a co, it’s random draw so you never know who you’re fishing with. And your fate is up to your boters mercy and your fishability.  I’m proud of my growth and cannot wait for next year.  If I’m lucky I’ll be able to weasel my way into regionals. 🤞🏼 not bad for a rookie!
