Busy but great place
Alum creek is a fun spot to fish and has an abundant amount of many species. However, the litter is ridiculous and the water stinks pretty bad in some places.

Idk up it just clicks when I’m there
There is something here for everyone, the lake has strong populations of bass, blue gill, saugeye, muskie, channel catfish, crappie, and yellow perch. Saugeye are often taken from the bank and from boat doing a rang of things from trolling flicker shads and lindy rigs in the summer to casting swim baits and jerk baits in the dead of winter. Crappie are taken year round with a variety of methods like jigging one of the many brushpiles or fishing a slip bobber and minnow under a bridge. Muskie are caught trolling in the south pool and often a fun surprise while targeting bass or saugeye. Overall it’s a Great Lake with great structure for what ever you want to catch from brushpiles to rip rap. If this is going to be your first time fishing here I recommend you try starting at the dam fishing in the outwash produces everything the lake has to offer as well as the rip rap rocks above the dam yeid smallmouth in the summer and great saugeye fishing October-April
