Had fun at Dinky Creek today. Had to get out of Fresno and beat the heat.

First time fishing in stream, caught 2 cuties.

so fun hunting these little guys in these little pools. spinners were the ticket had 2 decent sized trout strike but no hook up😄

Camping/fishing trip🎣🏕 me and a friend caught over 40+ trout combined this trip.

The creek is getting over fished. Many people are taking beyond a daily limit and leaving their trash to mark that they have been there. Very sad as I have fished this area for 36 years and in the past 10 it has declined tremendously.

It’s good I would suggest going there. The pools are really pretty, and it’s fun walking the creek and seeing all the different places fish will hide. Fish are in the rocks and overhangs of the pools. And in the creek they are usually under a rock that will give them shade but there is still running water. Just release the fish so other people can catch them again and experience the same thrill. Many people were taking out more than the max number, be fair to other people. 😤 parking isn’t very good, and you have to have a cabin to park At the creek. If you are staying at the camp you have to walk some to get to the creek.
