nice little place

I was told about this place by my Dad's friend from work. Place is really easy to get to. The gate opens up at 8 in the morning and closes at 8 at night. there is a parking lot in the peninsula, but if you go on a nice day it might be crowded by beachgoers. your best bet is to go right when it's early. I want to try to go down to the southern tip of the peninsula but you cannot take a car there you'll have to hike around. I fished the east side of the rocks and caught a ton of black sea bass that were way too small but I got lucky and caught this beautiful scup. I was hoping for at least a couple more but I didn't have any luck after this cash I hung around here for another couple of hours and I didn't catch any other Keepers but this one. I tried the West side for a little but I didn't feel any bites. The real action is on the east side and if you just want to go for Catch and Release and to have a little fun I suggest going to this place it's really nice. my recommendation is to not use anyting bigger than 1/0 hooks, the black sea bass right now are way too small. I was using cut squid and a 2 oz sinker and slowly retrieved well keeping the line tight and as soon as I felt the bite I would catch one every time. It was a lot of fun!
