Fishing Water

I wanted to keep my son’s growing interest in fishing, so we made a bucket fish tank for him of any bluegill we caught. He watched these bluegill he reeled in for as long as possible before we stressed them out too much and released them. He was happy.

Having fun at the ponds, but be careful where you stand, I got attacked by some angry bees?

Been getting up decently early and it's been paying off. Few on the ole plopper, hopefully more to come???✌?

Little one later today. Saw the same 2 guys at my spot keeping anything that bit their line.... makes me sick, they were keeping 5 inch bass. Taking a chunk of the population every night??⚰️ I was wondering why this year sucked compared to last year... I think I know now. I understand maybe keeping like 1 or 2 bass if you're desperate for food or just want to try it once but every single  night keeping any size bass,gill, and crappie. Disappointing?? people like that are ruining spots... and it's not just one day. I see them everyday this last week... these are the type of things that would make me want to quit fishing. They stock ponds with trout for people like that.. they don't stock bass✌???⚔️

Went bass fishing with my kids today at St. Louis and i pulled this beauty big girl 🎣

This guy put up one hell of a fight ended up beating my PB by nearly 2 lbs.

28 inch, 10.66 lbs. 

Slowing down my presentation and stepping up a weight division (FINALLY! ?) with da bitsy ? bug jig and wrecking craw trailer!  At 2.60# even, ? numero cinco is my best of the sesh thus far!  ??  yahooooooo!!! ??

These ponds are great. Loaded with fish of every species and all different skill levels. My only complaint is that the ponds are almost impossible to fish in the summer because of all the dense vegetation in the water. But during the winter and spring these ponds become some of my favorite places to fish.

Great place to fish many ponds to choose from I stuck to the three closest to the main parking lot. Good place to hangout and take the family as well! 

St. Louis Ponds

This place is insanely pressured... and I mean hammered... but it has nice fish and it's well maintained, a great spot to fish.

Lots of bluegill and small bass, trout are stocked so lots of them but they get fished out pretty quick.
