Warm weather just began to breakthrough in May and with it came the start of some great fishing. Spring fishing is fantastic in some parts of the country, but May was when anglers across the U.S  shook off the rust and began setting hooks, landing fish and loading their catches onto the Fishbrain App.

Follow below for Fishbrain’s new monthly series where we look back on some of the most popular entries submitted by Fishbrain App users, like: the most caught species, most popular lures, best bodies of water for fishing and more.

This month we are looking at the most caught and logged species on the app for May.
