I went out this morning to try and catch some more species. The water was not as muddy as yesterday because the wind had died down, so I was able to see large schools of mixed minnows. I had to weed my way through a few Ohrid Spirlin before I was able to catch this fish. It swallowed the hook, so I didnt want to take more in-detail underwater photos that could end up stressing the fish out too much, so I could only get a photo of it in my hand. This made the ID harder to find, but I was eventually able to pinpoint it as a Rutilus ohridanus with a lot of help from @lukeovgard

After catching the Ohrid Roach, I walked along the shore to a marshy area that was packed with different minnow species. I like usual had to weed my way through a bunch of Ohrid Spirlin before getting to a few chubs. These chubs are endemic to the Little Drim River drainage, including lake ohrid and lake skadar.

The Ohrid roach is a freshwater fish endemic to Lake Ohrid. It features a streamlined body with silvery scales and a distinctive red-tinted fin. Typically measuring around 8 inches and weighing up to 1 pound, it feeds on plankton and small invertebrates.
