Randomly woke up at 6:30 today so decided to go do some fishing. Today is my first day here in Barcelona 🇪🇸, and this morning I caught 2 fish and both new species!

I have to admit though, Barcelona is probably the worst place I have saltwater fished so far. The storm drain water flows right into the ocean at the beach, and makes the water really muddy and dirty. At the outflow you can see a ton of paper towels, trash, etc flowing into the ocean from the streets. I am surprised that people swim in it, at first I thought it was raw sewage outflow 😳🤮

I only caught 2 fish in a few hours, probably because the water quality isnt good and its a super pressured spot. I will try this evening a spot thats a bit further away to see if it will be better.

New species #54 Rusty Blenny, very fat one

Another night another haul I got one bream two little blennies and a big blenny it was about 7 inches long but it swallowed the hook and died so I buried it in in the sand and wrote RIP
