Pre-Spawn Bass Fishing Tactic: (Slow Days) I like using any combination of Black/Blue Craw style baits, slow dragged and hopped on the bottom. (Active Days) I like to use a translucent Craw patterned Crank bait bumping any and everything I can."

Post-Spawn Bass Fishing Tip: "Pretty much ANY creature style bait dragged on the bottom through the beds that I can see. -Weightless fluke with a 1/16 or less Split shot about 6-12in down the line -I have even used suspending Jerk baits with enough belly weights added add towards the front of the bait to cause a extremely slow nose dive right onto the bed, to mimic a baitfish feeding on eggs"

Pre-spawn Bass fishing tip: I typically will use a search bait such as a Rat Trap, jerk bait or under spin. And I am slow rolling everything because the water temperatures are still fairly cold.

Post-spawn Bass fishing tip: Post Spawn I treat similar to pre spawn. I will still use search baits however I will be using more crank baits and chatterbaits and still slow roll. A very underutilized tactic is to just kill the bait. No I’m not talking about a quick pause. I literally mean kill the bait, don’t move it for 10-15 seconds and continue
