North Sands

North sands as it’s called/ the sandbar as I call it, is a great fishing spot full of herring, whiting, big flounder everywhere, flathead and other bottom dwelling species. I would recommend using bait for your bottom species with a simple paternoster rig ( If your a beginner ) But if you are looking for more of a challenge I have caught quite a few whiting, flathead and flounder on small surface lures and soft plastics. Beach is accessible by walking ( through tracks) or riding a bike along the beach. Very friendly people walk there dogs along the beach in the mornings and afternoons. I would say that you would have to be keen to fish here as it is a fair walk from the car! I hope this has helped some people 👍🏻
