Hey guys I wanted to share one of my favorite fishing techniques and set ups with you! What I have here in my hand is the 3/8oz Googan squad grass hero swimjig matched up with 15/17 pound P line tactical. The rod I prefer for this set up A 7.3 heavy Rush series favorite rod. I also like to use a 8.1 reel so I can set the hook better. (Shimano Metainium) I will use two types of trailers on this jig, one is a Googan Baits saucy swimmer as well as a Googan baits Cracken craw…. I like to use the swim bait when fishing open water and submerged grass…I like to use the craw when fishing heavy cover or wood. I use this technique a lot when covering water and trying to locate a group of fish and especially when I see a lot of bait fish in the area or feeding activity. My target depth is 1-6ft. I also prefer a steady retrieve where I can barley see it under the water. Good luck and Catchem! 🤙🏻
What is the best winter bait to use for bass?? And how do you use it?
So I am newer to fishing and I have a pretty good selection of lures. From worms to spinner baits to jerk baits etc. If you guys had to choose what would be your go to lure for a definite big bass bite. Also any tips on where, when, and how to fish it would be greatly appreciated. Let me know! Tight lines!🎣😝
Y’all I’ve been trying to catch bass on soft plastics and I’ve had no luck what soft plastics would you guys recommend for me to use this fall and winter? I’m in Tennessee
Quick question for you guys. I got my first fly rods this summer (both cheap 💩 from China) and learned how to cast with them. I managed to break both of them, but I’m hooked. What are your guys recommendations as far as weights and brands go for a new pole/reel/line? Im looking to fish small ponds for bass, gills, and carp. I go camping in PA/WV in the summer, and would like something I could use for the trout streams. There are steelhead in my area, but I don’t think I’ll be fishing for them too often. There are also musky and pike, but I’m not sure what size I would want to use for them Finally, what are your opinions on the poles from moonshine rod co?
