The USA caught the most fish in 2019, followed by Canada, Sweden, Australia and Great Britain.

Unsurprisingly, the top catches in both The US and Canada were variations of Bass species, with Largemouth and Smallmouth being the most popular. The ever-popular Eurasian Perch and Northern Pike were the second runners up throughout the Nordics and Great Britain.

We saw a nice variety of baits used, but there were some clear Angler favorites:

US Favorite Baits were:

  • Whopper Plopper by River-2-Sea

Canada's Favorite Fishing Baits Included:

  • Senko 5" by Yamamato

  • X-Rap by Rapala

  • Whopper Plopper by River-2-Sea

Swedish Angler's Favorite Baits Included:

  • Reflex Red by Abu Garcia

  • Shad Teez Swimbait by Westin

  • Pig Shad Jr - by The Pig

Great Britain Preferred the Following Baits:

  • Pellets by Bait-Tech

  • Response-Range Boilies by Mainline

  • Sweetcorn by Bagern

Our Angler's Down Under Showed a Preference for:

  • Grubz by Z-Man

  • Slim Swimz Swimbait by Z-man

  • Stumpjumper by Stumpjumper
