There's a reason why you haven't seen me with a Bass in my hands the last 2 weeks 😆 
I switched gears and went chasing after these elegant creatures. After getting broke off twice and being spooled by an absolute monster, I licked my wounds, re spooled, got back in the game and managed to catch this 5 foot beauty late Saturday evening just before dark. It was an awesome last 2 weekends of camping and fishing for these dinosaurs of the deep! 

Caught about 20 small mouth and 2 walleye 

Wish we had more and bigger cats in wa state. Missed a couple of light bites, this was the only one landed. Still a fun trip down to the good old Snake 🤙🏽
