This Flathead made me think he was a lot bigger the way he hit the bluegill but he is still a decent one.

I caught one medium sized Flathead today at the end of our trip. We fished the last spot for only a few minutes. We had a couple good hits and I managed to hook this one in the bottom of the mouth. We took photos at the landing and released him. We probably could have night fished and caught more but the mosquitoes came out and we didn’t want to stay any longer. If we didn’t have the hybrid circle hooks the hook would have probably slipped out of his mouth because of no offset.

I caught this on a spinnerbait while I was waiting for catfish to bite.

I caught a flathead on bluegill this morning.
