Fishing Reports

Last Thursday afternoon (April 4th) we headed up to a creek just a few miles up the road we have fished at before and caught some intresting species at and my pb spotted bass Last year.

We started off with finnese bass lures trying to catch some spotted bass, but the water was kinda high and really muddy (must have gotten rain up north that week, down here it was dry) and we didn't even get a bite fishing for bass,
so we got some light power rods and fished with worms, and we managed to catch a pair of very pretty long eared sunfish, notice how they have light colors due to the year round consistent sandy bottom and that days muddy water.
Yesterday I went fishing at the creek running through our property and you litteraly could not have asked for better creek fishing weather that day, and I caught a bunch of these long ears, and 4 other species.
