This little guy smoked my crankbait at a little ditch on the side of the road

First gar on rod and reel, says it’s an alligator gar but looks kinda like a spot to me.

Caught my first bowfin, mudfish, mud pike, dogfish, griddle, grinnel, swamp trout or whatever you may call it, the other day. You wanna talk about a fight!!!! One of, if not the best fights I’ve ever had!!!
