Caught this FAT 17.5 inch Cuttthroat Trout. Lots of fun!! Almost had another but couldn't get him hooked. Used a green and gold pattern rooster tail.

Idk if this is a brown trout, the thing said that was the closest match so yeah. This guy put up a hell of a fight. At least 10 to 15 minutes. He was somewhere from 25 to 30 inches so to be safe I said 28.5 inches.

Nice end of season send-off on my home water with this native Coastal Cutthroat sipping a dry off the surface.  See ya in November, Cedar Creek! 🥃
