Fishing Reports

      The fishing season is coming to an end however Alex and I took one of our last fishing trips of the year. A successful mission with a fantastic outcome. The crimson leaves swayed in the light fall breeze, while I casted out on a minnow crank bait which was traded to me by Adam. A felt a nibble, waited a few seconds and POW I cranked the rod and set the hook. As I reeled it in I wondered what species it was until I landed the fish; my first ever chain pickero. This just goes to show anything is possible while fishing with the boys.



Wasn’t Howes Pond tried to get there through a trail didn’t work out was walking home when I passed by a part of fish brook and saw a bunch of tiny baby pickerel and sunfish decided to do a cast and couldn’t believe I got em. Was fishing out of a puddle no bigger than 25 feet by 25 feet and 3 to 4 feet deep.

Howe park, sac, ca. Caught limit within 30mins, derby going on pay 5bucks. Bunch of people, may the best kid win! 👍
