New Federal red snapper regulations proposed for South Atlantic The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has proposed new regulations for the southern Atlantic grouper and red snapper seasons. The bold new regulations are aimed at curtailing high mortality rates from caught and released fish that are released and succumb to the drastic pressure difference on the surface.
