Merry Christmas from Fishbrain

The seasons changed before our very eyes this year, as did many of our fishing seasons. In truth, fishing never really ends, with winter opportunities like ice fishing, steelheading and more.  Many of us, however, have relinquished our rods, reels, tackle boxes and waders to that special place in the garage. Regardless if you’re fishing, or not, December is the perfect time to reflect on the reasons that get us up early and on the water.

Moments make up the entirety of our fishing seasons. We get to see a child’s face when they hook and land their very first fish. We get to see the special colors you only get when watching the sunrise on your favorite water. We get skunked, we miss shots, laugh at our friends when they lose a fish all while exploring places the average person never gets to see.

We are so grateful for a community of people who appreciate these moments as much as we do and proud to be host to so many anglers who made 2022 one for the record books.

Let’s all take this time to look back on the experiences that made 2022 a great fishing season, without also hesitating to start thinking ahead to all the fish 2023 has in store for us.

We hope each and every one of you have a holiday season that is filled with laughter, love and an embellished fishing story, or two.

Merry Christmas, happy holidays and happy new year from all of us at the Fishbrain Team.

Now let's go fishing.
