Introducing Fishbrain Reeled. We’re giving you a little reminder of your success from years past while adding some suggestions of fishing areas that could help you top your best catch from last year. As a cherry on top we’ve also awarded fishing nicknames for all users to wear like badges of honor.
Spring is tantalizing our senses with every coming day and we can hardly wait to get back on the water. The beginning of another fishing season is akin to the first day of summer when you were in school. The opportunities seem endless and an unsupervised world of water awaits you.
We at Fishbrain like to treat the spring season almost like a holiday and in doing so are offering a gift to the Fishbrain community.
Introducing Fishbrain Reeled. We’re giving you a little reminder of your success from years past while adding some suggestions of fishing areas that could help you top your best catch from last year. As a cherry on top we’ve also awarded fishing nicknames for all users to wear like badges of honor.
Your best catch
We want to highlight your previous best catch, giving you some extra motivation (not that you needed any) to get out and set some hooks. Depending on your fishing history in the app, we’ll showcase a previous catch that stood out: it could be your personal best, or might be one of your biggest catches, most liked catches, or others, reminding you of some of your best days on the water and the reason we love this sport.
Your next best catch
For members with public catch info, we looked at which body of water your best catch came from and made a little suggestion. Then we found bodies of water within 50 miles of your best catch with bigger and more catches to make a recommendation personalized for you. Maybe your personal best came off a honey hole that you’ve worked on for years, but if you ever want to try new bodies of water to cast from, we wanted to provide you with a jumping off point.
Your new nickname
Maybe you are a salty dog tied in fate with the ocean, or a wood collector who catches more sticks than fish. Either way, we wanted to give you a proper name that your Fishbrain friends can know you by. We aren’t saying your new moniker of “the dink slayer” will last, but your friends may just find the perfect new nickname for you.
All these memories, insights and nicknames are available for you to share on your Instagram and Facebook stories for everyone else in your life to see.
Warmth weather is here, lake ice is melting and you made it through another winter. Your reward, like every year, is continuing the best sport on earth in the most beautiful places ever seen. Never be complacent with last year’s success: there are always bigger fish to catch, new species to cast for and new waters begging for you to come cast into them. The world is full of fishing opportunities and Fishbrain will be with you for each and every one of them.
Now let’s go fishing. We’ll bring the bait.
