Sailfish season is in full swing in south Florida! Boatsetter team member Enrique Calderas competes with Team Utopia Fishing. On a recent warmup day practicing ahead of the tournament season, the team saw 8 sailfish, got 5 bites, and 3 releases…

However, as Enrique tells us, you need a 90% catch rate to place well in tournaments. The next practice day, the team improved their conversion rate, catching a triple and going 3/3 all at once. We’ll be checking back to share how the team performs this season!
