This design is heavy on purple, which has higher visibility, deeper in the water column, than almost any other color. As such, it’s a great choice for fishing deep trenches and dropoffs. A little bit of orange legs and tentacles add a little more substance to this fly, and the pink egg head could probably catch fish on its own. This is another jig that crosses over to salmon and steelhead.
