Polycarbonate (PC) lenses are lighter than glass, scratch resistant, shatter resistant, and offer improved visual clarity over the TAC lenses. TAC is the acronym for Tri Acetate Cellulose used in lens construction. These lenses are comprised of a scratch resistant plastic and block out 99% of all UV rays up to 400 nanometers. Frost White and Crystal Pink frames combines another fashion trend of a frosted look on the outside frame and arm with crystal pink lining the inside of the frame and arm. Smoke lenses keep colors neutral while the medium to dark gray, smoke tint blocks the sunlight.  This results in less light reaching the eyes and makes bright sunlight easy on the eyes.
