The WILD SIDE 6’8” Pure Glass Fiber Medium Casting Rod is a Pure UD glass fiber cranking rod and is perfect for throwing any moving bait. Its glass blank has a perfect bend that allows you to cast lures a mile and keep the bait in the fish's mouth longer. The casting rod employs unidirectional glass that makes them extremely lightweight while still giving them exceptional power. We designed the guide setting for each model, we are trying to have the smallest guides possible while still reducing friction against the blank. This model uses a Fuji ECS type reel seat. We chose this reel seat because we feel this reel seat fulfills every angler's needs. This works well for all grip types and is very comfortable even after a long day of fishing. The guides and taper are for optimizing the lure swimming action and to absorb the vibration from the lure.

The rubber cork butt end adds balance and a better feeling of contact when fighting big fish. The entire rod is wrapped in Aramid fiber. Aramid reinforcement is an extremely strong material typically used in bulletproof vests & aerospace construction. We use Aramid fiber in our rods to strengthen the rods while reducing weight. The result is a rod with enhanced action, improved tenacity, and a longer lifespan.
