good lake.  watch for stumps and tweekers.  keep your vehicle locked.  durring hunting season, please dont fish into my duck decoys.

I fished here for the first time and the tree stumps are a blessing and a curse.  They keep a lot of boats out of the water so it nice and quiet.  Plus there’s some big bass here too. Definitely going back!

Great for kayaks!

lots of stumps and debris in the water be cautious and aware of your surroundings. with all that said debris and stumps makes for great cover and places to fish. fantastic pan fish and perch fishing. little bit of everything. just a simple worm and a bobber and you will be busy most of the day. Also has one of my favorite boat launches very well set up.

Slow and Steady

First time here, caught 5 largemouth. Great bass fishing lake cause all the stumps keeps the pleasure boats out. Parking lot was a little trashed and heard they were having problems with tweaker and thieves.

Went in on the quarry side. Nice little duck pond on one side and the lake on the other. Perfect bass habitat. Got one on a whopper plopper in about 30 minutes but it spit it on a jump. No parking on this side of the lake. Watch out for gravel trucks.

Nice & secluded

The entire lake is one giant snag so keep your eyes glued to the water directly in front of your boat or you will be swimming back to shore. Besides eery factor of a lake overflowing with submerged trees standing vertical many of them just inches or a foot or 2 below the surface and downed timbers laying in wait to ruin your boat and your day you've got to keep an eye on your vehicle due to the sheer number of local methamphetamine addicts roaming the area looking for an easy mark. Its sad really because this is one of the few lakes that you don't have to put up with ski boats and jet skies racing around spooking all the fish and bedsides the launch area there is only 1 house on the entire shore line leaving almost all of it completely natural. Its a bass fisherman's dream sporting cover upon cover interlaced with cover near you guessed it, cover and most of it drops to 15 or 20 feet deep within 20 or 30 feet of the bank. Just remember to leave your catalytic converter at home and if you are leaving a wake you're going to sink your boat!
