Will not disappoint you here you will catch a variety of fish over 20 different species and the most frequent species you will see here are common big colonies of bass and bluegill, crappie. Willamette river is best suited for worm and scented baits it seems like the scent is more attracted to the fish the Wild Life & Reserve Sherrif also patrols around the Willamette river with their boat constantly checking peoples angling licenses, making sure they’re valid. So make sure you have your fishing license on you at all times.

The lake is wonderful it’s just the lake needs to be periodically restocked otherwise it just remains a “Mystery Lake” with whatever you catch because I’ve honestly seen it all in this lake. From massive trout, two massive carp and there was even a rumor of sturgeon being in here I’ve personally witnessed a fish very long fish jump out in front of me I believe it was a sturgeon I’m not sure though it could be a pike or some other species but I believe it was a sturgeon, I’ve seen it all in this lake.
