I alway go here cuz it’s close by, has bathrooms n people usually are chill. Great place to bring the kids n pets to ride bikes or fish. Just be careful with the pets near water cuz the gators have no chill n will try to pet your dogs without permission. O_o I never been lucky with bass but i can catch cat fish, bluegill and tilapia fine. Theres nice shaded spots all over n if i have a boat or kayak you will have better lick with the bigger stuff. Heads up park rangers will show up like ninjas n card you, have your fishing licenses on or on phone. I seen people loose their S___ n fined for it. Be safe out there n bring water! Theres fountains n hose water but i rather have a bottle on me.

Absolutely full of monster bass. This lake is hardly ever fished and the water is crystal clear. Its a aquifer fed lake so its extremely healthy and full of bass, gar, catfish, bream, and crappie. It is surrounded by private property, so you need permission to come in. Call up Camp Giliead and ask for permission. If there schedule is good, they might let you launch a boat on there ramp.
