This lake is around 100 years old and hansnt been stocked in over 13 years, but has a lot of different species surprisingly, largemouth, black crappie, green sunfish, bluegill, carp, channel cats, yellow bullheads, flathead cats (rare), koifish, and there has been piranhas, pacu, and even Oscars caught here. It's stained and very tough but it's awesome when it produces. my personal best largemouth bass is 7lbs 2oz. from this lake and I'll never forget it!

I love lake Perris the best lake I’ve been to so far the only thing that’s suck about it is that they drain the lake every year for winter.I like lake Perris cause it’s family friendly parking and staff are nice and fishing there is all around great they stalk the lake with trout in winter every Thursday and if I were to recommend a place to fish there it would be lot 11-12or the boat docks and the dam or the back side on boat or float tube.
